In short
This is an official document issued by the U.S. Department of State to U.S. citizens born outside the United States. It serves as proof of U.S. citizenship.
If you or any key principal in the acquisition were born outside the U.S. but are U.S. citizens, the lender will require proof of citizenship. A Certificate of Birth Abroad, along with a U.S. passport, is acceptable documentation for SBA loan eligibility.
