For SBA lenders
Short answer
Key information such as borrower name, taxpayer identification number (TIN), loan amount, maturity, use of proceeds, and ownership details must match precisely between Form 1919 and the E-Tran submission.
The E-Tran system uses data submitted by the lender to generate the official SBA Loan Authorization. Discrepancies between the underlying application documents (like Form 1919) and the E-Tran entry can lead to processing delays, errors in the authorization, or even guaranty issues if material information differs.
If SBA Form 1919 lists the borrower's legal name as 'ABC Inc.' but the E-Tran submission is entered as 'ABC Incorporated,' this discrepancy must be corrected before the authorization is issued. Similarly, the requested loan amount must be identical.
