In short
A formal statement signed by you, the borrower, attesting that the information provided in your loan application is true and accurate to the best of your knowledge. Misrepresentation can have serious consequences.
You'll sign multiple borrower certifications throughout the loan process, including on SBA Form 1919 and at closing. These are legally binding. Ensure all information you've provided, from personal financial statements to business plans, is completely accurate before signing, as false statements can lead to the SBA denying the loan guaranty or even legal action.
