SBA Form 1919 (Borrower Information Form) and SBA Form 1920 (Lender's Application for Guaranty) are core mandatory forms for every 7(a) loan application.
SBA Form 1919 collects essential eligibility and ownership information directly from the borrower, including certifications. SBA Form 1920 (though retired for direct submission to E-Tran, its data points are still collected) details the lender's application for the guaranty and certifies compliance with program rules. These forms ensure critical information is captured and certified.
For every 7(a) loan, the lender obtains a completed and signed SBA Form 1919 from the applicant. The lender also completes the equivalent data entry into E-Tran which corresponds to the information previously captured on Form 1920.
